Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular emergency alert device capable of switching to an auxiliary power supply at early timing while suppressing increase in cost, weight and the like.SOLUTION: A vehicular emergency alert device, which is mounted in a vehicle and generates emergency alerts to the outside of the vehicle based on an input signal derived from an output value of a first sensor, comprises: a first power supply path for receiving supply of operation power from a main power supply; a second power supply path for receiving supply of operation power from an auxiliary power supply; a second sensor separate from the first sensor; and switching means for switching the power supply paths so that supply of operation power for the vehicular emergency alert device is received through the first power supply path at normal times, and supply of the operation power is available through the second power supply path when the output of the second sensor meets prescribed conditions.
