Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weight for a golf club which is capable of adding comparatively heavy weight, capable of being easily and certainly installed to a shaft of the golf club such as a putter, and does not impair outward appearance of the golf club.SOLUTION: This weight W1 for the golf club includes a weight body, a first fixing means, and a second fixing means. The weight body has a rod shape, and can be inserted into the shaft of the golf club. The first fixing means is provided in one end of the weight body, and has a press face pressing the inner face of the shaft, for fixing the one end side of the weight body to the shaft. The second fixing means is provided in the other end of the weight body, and has a press face pressing the inner face of the shaft, for fixing the other end side of the weight body to the shaft.
