PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a pattern capable of narrowing down the scope of influence with high accuracy by considering the contents of the original change, because changes of the same kind often have different change parameters.SOLUTION: The device includes: a change record database, which is history information on the past records of changes; means for determining a kind of a change by selecting from among parameters composing the change record database; means for classifying a change history of the change record database in accordance with the kind of change; and means for creating a combination of a kind of change on the generating side and a kind of change on the influenced side as a pattern of change with the use of a change ID concerning each change (change on the generating side) and another change ID (change on the influenced side) influenced by that change.
