PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide self-propelled gouging device, capable of being self-propelled by sucking on an object surface such as a concrete wall surface to be gouged and efficiently performing gouging work by maintaining the suction state onto the object surface, even when deeply gouging the gouging object surface.SOLUTION: The gouging device 100 includes a self-propelled part A and a gouging part B connected thereto and conveyed by the self-propelled part A. The self-propelled part A includes a sucker 1 capable of sucking on a gouging object surface and a sucker carriage 2 on which the sucker 1 is mounted and which can travel on a surface while the sucker 1 sucks on the surface. The gouging part B includes a water jetting gouging unit 3 applying gouging treatment on the surface and a water jetting gouging unit carriage 4 on which the gouging unit 3 is mounted and which can travel on the surface while the gouging unit 3 can perform the gouging treatment on the surface.
