Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT (computed tomography) apparatus in which the temperature control of a PDA (photodiode array) is facilitated with a simple structure to improve the image quality of a CT image, allowing the temperature control to be applied particularly to a case in which an X-ray detector and a DAS (data acquisition system) are configured to be adjacent structures, or a unitary structure.SOLUTION: The X-ray CT apparatus includes: a scintillator configured to emit a fluorescent based on an X-ray from an X-ray source; the PDA 52 having a photodetection element 52a configured to convert the fluorescent into an electrical signal, a temperature sensor 52b, and a heat element 52c; the DAS 24 configured to collect transmission data based on the electrical signal; and a controller 26 configured to control a temperature of a photodiode 52 by adjusting an electric current of the heat element 52c based on the temperature detected by the temperature sensor 52b.
