Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat spreader excellent in thermal conductivity in a surface direction as well as in a layer direction, and to provide a cooling device for a heating element using the heat spreader.SOLUTION: A heat spreader is formed as a laminate in which a plurality of strip-shaped thermal conductivity plates 111 having better thermal conductivity in longitudinal and width directions than in the plate thickness direction are laminated in the plate thickness direction. The laminate is so configured that a surface made up by longitudinal sides 111a of the thermal conductivity plates 111 is formed as a plate surface 110a extending in a plate-like form, and a direction orthogonal to the plate surface 110a is in the thickness direction. |
