Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the durability of a trans-wheel by reducing rattling of small rollers.SOLUTION: A plurality of small rollers 3 rotating in the direction of crossing the rotating direction of a conveying roller are provided along the outer periphery of the conveying roller for a roller conveyor. The small roller 3 includes a peripheral surface 3c coming into contact with a conveyed article, and a support shaft through-hole 3a penetrating between both end surfaces 3b, 3b with the peripheral surface 3c in between. Each of the small rollers 3 is rotatably supported with respect to a wheel body 5 of the conveying roller by a support shaft 4 inserted into the support shaft through-hole 3a. The support shaft 4 is supported by a bearing part 6 provided on the wheel body 5. The diameter of the support shaft through-hole 3a gradually becomes larger toward a center part 3e between both end surfaces 3b, 3b from each opening 3d opening to both end surfaces 3b, 3b. Since an outermost edge 4a of the support shaft 4 is made to be a trans-wheel coming into line-contact along the inner surface of the support shaft through-hole 3a, rattling of the small rollers 3 is reduced and the durability of the trans-wheel is enhanced.
