Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bush cutter capable of changing the position of a grip without shifting the grip of a handle from one hand to the other hand.SOLUTION: A first space 18 for attaching a fixed end of the handle 12 therein in such a way that the handle 12 is turnable, and a second space 20 communicating with the first space 18, are formed inside a handle securing device 16 of the bush cutter 10. The second space 20 has an engaged part 22 having engaged means 22a, and an engaging part 24 having engaging means 24a engaging with the engaged means 22a is engaged with the engaged part 22. The engaging part 24 is supported at a position engaging with the engaged part 22 by the urging force of urging means 28, and the handle 12 is connected and fixed to the handle securing device 16 via the engaging part 24. When a lever 34 is gripped, engagement between the engaging part 24 and the engaged part 22 is released, so that the handle 12 is turnable, and the position of the grip 12a of the handle 12 can be changed.
