PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video display apparatus capable of providing a user with stereoscopic video giving no sense of discomfort by using a phase difference between right-eye video and left-eye video to perform error correction.SOLUTION: The display apparatus comprises a decoding part for decoding video data into which videos from a plurality of view points are encoded, a phase difference detection part for detecting phase difference information affecting a distance feeling for a three-dimensional video when displaying the three-dimensional video from a first image and a second image obtained from decode by the decoding part, an error detection part for detecting an error portion of the image obtained from decode by the decoding part, and an image correction part for correcting an error portion by replacing the error portion of the image obtained from decode by the decoding part with another image by reflecting the phase difference information detected by the phase difference detection part.
