Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker capable of preventing from ejecting explosive boiling water in an evaporation chamber into a heating chamber.SOLUTION: A vapor generation container A provided with an evaporation generation chamber 5 and a delivery opening through which vapor from the evaporation generation chamber 5 is delivered to supply steam to the heating chamber and constituted so as to have a water heating body 3 for heating water and a cover 4 facing the water heating body 3 in the lateral direction and having the evaporation generation chamber 5 formed between the water heating body 3 and the cover 4. A water supply opening 41 for supplying water into the vapor generation container A is provided in the cover 4 and a groove 45 to allow water supplied from the water supply opening 41 to flow down along the inner surface of the cover 4 is provided in the cover 4. By arranging the delivery opening to be apart from the position of the water supply opening lower side where explosive boiling occurs with sufficient interval, the explosively boiling water hardly enters into the delivery opening even if the explosive boiling occurs in the position of the water supply opening lower side.
