Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent a liquid from leaking out through a through hole of a driving shaft for rotating a driving gear.SOLUTION: A gear pump 10 includes: a motor 11 for driving to rotate the driving shaft 16; a base 17 disposed on an output side of the motor 11 and having the driving shaft 16 rotatably passing through; a gear case 24 disposed on an opposite surface to the motor 11 on the base 17 and having a driving gear 35 coupled with the driving shaft 16 and a follower gear 36 to be rotated to follow by the driving gear 35 disposed in its internal space for sucking the liquid from a suction part 27 and discharging it from a discharging part 28 by the rotation of the gears 35 and 36; and a thrust plate 37 disposed between the driving gear 35 and the follower gear 36, and the base 17, and including a through hole 38 through which the driving shaft 16 passes. A reflux path 39 in which the liquid flowing between the thrust plate 37 and the base 17 is refluxed into the gear case 24 is provided in the vicinity of the suction part 27 in the gear case 24 of the thrust plate 37.
