PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for repairing a wrap film roll without damaging a film adhered on the outer circumferential face of a wrap film roll.SOLUTION: The method for repairing a wrap film roll includes: a step P03 of holding the wrap film roll having a cylindrical part with a film cylindrically wound thereon, in a hand; a step P04 of bringing a repair member into contact with the film along the outer circumferential face of the cylindrical part; and steps P06, P07 of rotating the wrap film roll relatively to the repair member around the central axis of the cylindrical part, rubbing the outer circumferential face of the cylindrical part by the repair member to separate an end of the film from the outer circumferential face of the cylindrical part, and forming a separation part having a predetermined length in the axial direction of the cylindrical part. The separation part is formed by separating the end of the film from the outer circumferential face of the cylindrical part without generating a friction flaw in the film. A predetermined length in the axial direction of the cylindrical part is a length for continuously separating the film from the cylindrical part when delivering the film.
