Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve tradeoff between efficiency improvement and audible sound suppression by properly setting a characteristic of a reactor in an interleave type power factor improvement circuit adopting a boost chopper.SOLUTION: A reactor L1, a diode D1 and a switching element S1 connected to a route LH1 constitute a booster circuit B1, and a reactor L2, a diode D2 and a switching element S2 each connected to a route LH2 constitute a booster circuit B2. The booster circuits B1, B2 function as a power factor improvement circuit for improving a power factor of an input side. A swing choke is adopted in the reactors L1, L2.
