Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker for improving eating quality and having reduced influence for electromagnetic wave noise.SOLUTION: A body 30 has: an inner pan 32 stored removably in the body 30; a bottom induction heating coil 37 provided in the body 30 so as to cover the outside of the inner pan 32 and heat the inner pan 32; and a lid 45 covering a hole 33a of the body 30 and openably/closably pivotably supported. The body 30 has an upper frame 33 composing a body upper surface part, and a lower frame 31 composing the body side surface and ranging from a metallic body 34 to form a body lower surface. The distance between the bottom induction heating coil 37 and a lower end of the body 34 becomes almost equal over the entire periphery by making the right side surface, left side surface, and front surface of the body 34 incline progressively more toward the body inside. Thereby the difference of the magnetic force due to the difference of a distance between the bottom induction heating coil 37 and the body 34 becomes smaller and the crumble of the balance of the electromagnetic induction in a front, back, right and left direction is improved, and palatability is improved, and the balance of the electromagnetic wave noise to the outside is also improved.
