Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a tantalum oxidation coating by an anodic oxidation, by which a time required for the anodic oxidation is reduced and the anodic oxidation coating is formed efficiently.SOLUTION: In the method for forming a tantalum anodic oxidation coating, a solution at least containing an ionic liquid and water is used. An anion component of the ionic liquid is selected from the group consisting of: a carboxylic acid anion such as a formate anion; a sulfonic acid anion; a hydroxy anion; an imide anion; a halogen anion; a boron anion; and a cyano anion. A cation component of the ionic liquid is an ammonium cation or the like. The concentration of the ionic liquid is within the range of 0.001-50 wt.%.
