Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating composition used for providing an article having a more preferable antistatic film by providing a better antistatic technology.SOLUTION: The coating composition contains a structural unit originated from an unsaturated carboxylate ester having a (poly)oxyalkylene chain in the molecule, and the unsaturated carboxylate ester is represented by formula (1) (wherein Ris 2C-8C alkyl, 3C-8C cycloalkyl, or 6C-13C aryl; Ris hydrogen or methyl; n is the number of 1 to 3; and OA is oxyethylene, oxypropylene or oxybutylene).
