Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that when the ink ejection timing (impact position) and the density are corrected because the head driving voltage is changed, one adjustment causes unevenness or misalignment in the other adjustment, and thus much time is spent for adjustment although adjustment precision is improved by repeating both adjustments.SOLUTION: An image recorder corrects the ink ejection timing for aligning the impact position following to the first density correction processing where the driving voltage being applied to an ink jet head is corrected, and further adjusts or corrects the image density by changing the number of ink drops to be ejected, as required.
