Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature measurement device of metal plate that is not readily affected by background radiation, caused by vibration and a twist of a metal plate to be measured and that can reduce temperature measurement errors.SOLUTION: A radiation thermometer 7 is provided oriented toward a steel plate 1 to be measured, at an angle where radiation energy is alternately reflected once or twice between a reference plate 2 and the steel plate 1 to be measured, and an angle of radiation from the steel plate 1 to be measured is measured by the radiation thermometer 7. The temperature measurement device of a metal plate includes a steel plate temperature arithmetic circuit 9, that calculates an approximate value T1' of temperature T1 in the steel plate 1 that is to be measured according to a specified formula and sets the approximate value T1' to be the temperature T1 of the steel plate 1 to be measured. The radiation thermometer 7 is disposed oriented toward the steel plate 1 to be measured at a prescribed angle θ from the inside of a surface facing the steel plate 1 to be measured of the reference plate 2. |
