Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waveguide slot array antenna, capable of exciting respective radiation slots by standing waves, and capable of preventing a decline of the design flexibility of a feeding circuit connected to the poststage, while preventing degradation in the radiation characteristics of radiated electromagnetic waves.SOLUTION: The waveguide slot array antenna includes: a waveguide 2; a plurality of radiation slots 3 provided on one wall surface of the waveguide 2; and an overhung part 4 formed by being overhung to the inner side of the waveguide 2 from a surface facing the wall surface of the waveguide 2 provided with the radiation slots 3 between a position separated from the axial direction edge on the outer side of the waveguide 2 by 1/4 wavelength of the wavelength inside the waveguide and the axial direction edge on the inner side of the waveguide 2.
