Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary washing device capable of more surely killing bacteria living inside a flow channel to supply clean water.SOLUTION: The sanitary washing device includes: a nozzle including a water discharge port and squirting water from the water discharge port to wash user's human private parts; a water supply means supplying the water; the flow channel guiding the water supplied from the water supply means to the water discharge port; a sterilized water production means provided midway along the flow channel and operable to produce sterilized water; a human body detection means detecting use by the user; and a control part controlling operation of the water supply means and the sterilized water production means and performing control for filling the flow channel on the downstream side beyond the sterilized water production means with the sterilized water after the human body detection means detects use by the user.
