PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic switching device which is freely used even a switch component which does not satisfy the safety specifications of each country, as a switch component operated by a user for switching on or off power supply to an electronic apparatus from a commercial line source.SOLUTION: An oscillation means oscillates upon opening of both ends of a secondary side coil by an operation switch. When both ends of the secondary side coil are short-circuited, oscillation stops as the result of a decrease in the inductor value of a primary side coil, and accordingly, the state of both ends of the second side coil is reflected upon the output form of the output from the oscillation means. As a result, according to such output form, connection or interruption of a power supply path can be performed according to the operational state of the operation switch. Here, the secondary side coil to which the operation switch is connected is insulated from the primary side coil, and therefore, even when a switch component which does not satisfy the safety specifications of each country is used as the operation switch, the safety of the user operating the operation switch is secured.
