Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image correcting processing device capable of correcting a distorted image represented by wide angle camera video by high speed and high definition, using a circuit of a comparatively small scale.SOLUTION: A correction coordinate calculator 1 calculates the corrected coordinates regarding a pixel in a predetermined interval on the distorted image and stores the calculated result in a first memory 2. A linear interpolator 3 applies linear interpolation on the corrected coordinates. The correction portion 4 corrects chromatic aberrations for the corrected coordinates. Namely, in the correction coordinate calculator 1, the corrected coordinates are not calculated regarding all the pixels, but the corrected coordinates are calculated regarding only pixels within the predetermined interval on the distorted image. Then, in the linear interpolator 3, the coordinates which are not calculated by the correction coordinate calculator 1 is interpolated. As a result, computational volume is reduced.
