Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector, whose material cost is suppressed.SOLUTION: A shell 7 of a modular jack 3 (connector)comprises soldering terminal sections 7a to be connected to a substrate 2. The soldering terminal sections 7a comprise first soldering terminal sections 9g and second soldering terminal sections 9h. The first soldering terminal sections 9g are formed in extension from first side-wall sections 9c, which are folded back from a front face of a housing 6 towards a right side-face and a left side-face thereof, towards the substrate side. The second soldering terminal sections 9h are formed in extension from second side-wall sections 9d towards the substrate side, wherein the second side-wall sections are folded back from an upper wall section 9b, which in turn is folded back from the front face of the housing 6 towards an upper face thereof, towards the right side-face and the left side-face of the housing 6. The right side-face and the left side-face of the housing 6 are thereby covered by the first side-wall sections 9c and the second side-wall sections 9d. |
