Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide organic solvent-free compositions, methods for using them in the production of organic solvent-free extrudates of inorganic particulate materials, and their fired products.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a method for forming structured bodies, in particular, molecular sieve-containing structured bodies using silicone resins in particulate form with particulate inorganic materials without the addition of organic solvents. The silicone resin is used in the form having the average particle size less than 700 μm. The silicone resin is converted to silica when fired, which acts as a binder.
