Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To selectively remove osteoclasts from within blood by selectively adhering the osteoclasts included in blood to β-TCP within a channel in a carrier and capturing the osteoclasts in the carrier when the blood is made to flow in the channel in the carrier.SOLUTION: An osteoclast removing filter 1 includes the carrier 8 having the channel through which the blood can flow. The carrier 8 retains β-tricalcium phosphate at least on the surface of the channel. An osteoclast removing device includes a blood circuit for circulating the blood within the living body to the outside of the living body, and the osteoclast removing filter 1 disposed on the way of the blood circuit. With this structure, the osteoclasts included in the blood selectively adhere to β-TCP within the channel to be captured in the carrier 8.
