Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a child lock mechanism which makes operability during a door opening/closing operation proper while maintaining proper operability during a set/unset operation. SOLUTION: This child lock mechanism 10 includes: a base member (11); a first lever (12); a second lever (13); and an intermediate member (14) which is assembled to the first lever (12) and not assembled to the second lever (13). The intermediate member (14) can be rotated (along a rotational locus L1) with respect to the base member (11) in the state of being held in an unset position. The center of the rotation of the first lever (12) with respect to the base member (11) (the center of a supporting pin concentric with a supporting shaft 17 for coupling a child protector lever 15 and a coupling link 16 together), and the center of the rotation of the intermediate member (14) with respect to the base member (11) (the center of the supporting shaft 17) are coaxially disposed.
