Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy for obtaining a member provided with heat resistance, tensile strength and stress corrosion cracking resistance sufficient as those of automotive parts, to provide forged parts obtained by forging such aluminum alloy, and to provide a high strength bolt made of such aluminum alloy. SOLUTION: The aluminum alloy has a composition comprising, by mass, 1.0 to 1.7% Si, 0.05 to 0.5% Fe, 0.8 to 1.5% Cu, 0.6 to 1.2% Mn, 0.9 to 1.5% Mg, 0.05 to 0.5% Zn, 0.05 to 0.3% Zr and 0.01 to 0.2% V, if required, comprising >0 to 0.05% Ti, and, if required, further comprising, >0 to 0.7% Ni, and the balance Al with inevitable impurities.
