Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that while treatment using a material for treating an abdominal wall scar hernia comprising a nonabsorbable body material becomes common as a treatment method for the abdominal wall scar hernia, the material semipermanently remains in a living body, which brings about the possibility of the material to be an infection focus, the treatment material contracts in the process of curing the scar and protrudes outside the living body as a clod and further in case the treatment material exposed to inside of an abdominal cavity during curing, the treatment material strongly adheres to an organ and a reinforcing material in the abdominal cavity to cause a serious postsurgical coexisting illness. SOLUTION: The strength can be maintained until the abdominal wall scar hernia is cured and decomposed and absorbed in the living body after curing if the treatment material entirely made of a bioabsorbable material is used instead of using the nonabsorbable material, so that the problems can be solved. The material having both flexibility and strength can be provided by combining a bioabsorbable porous material and a bioabsorbable fibrous reinforcing material. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
