PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination device in which an LED is used, a variety of combinations of colors of light and light-collecting patterns are easy, and efficient extraction of light is possible. SOLUTION: The illumination device has: a substrate 40; an LED 50 mounted on an upper face of the substrate 40; a lens member 30 positioned on an upper part of the LED 50; a translucent plate 20 installed abutted on a flat face part formed on an upper face of the lens member 30; and a cabinet 10 formed of a translucent material to cover the substrate 40, the LED 50, the lens member 30, and the translucent plate 20. The lens member 30 and the translucent plate 20 are engaged with the interior of the cabinet 10, and the flat face part of the lens member 30 and the lower face of the translucent plate 20, and the upper face of the translucent plate 20 and the inner face of the cabinet 10 are brought into close contact, respectively. A recessed part 31 is formed at a part adjacent to the LED 50 of the lens member 30, and the recessed part 31 is formed so as to cover the LED 50. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
