Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic coupling device appropriately mounting a flange to a shell without using a screw. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic coupling device includes: the shell 1 made of a magnetic material and having a coil storage part 11 formed of an annular groove inside a U-shaped portion surrounding a U-shaped cross section at least; a coil 12 stored in the coil storage part 11 to form a magnetic path Z for attracting an armature 6 in the shell 1; and a flange 7 having at least a face plate part 71 and supporting the shell 1 in a state of joining the face plate part 71 to a bottom wall 14 constituting the groove bottom of the coil storage part 11.
