Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a molding in which a plurality of columnar structures are oriented substantially in the same directions in a matrix while having a curved shape. SOLUTION: There is provided the method of manufacturing the molding 10 which has at least partly a curved shape and comprises the matrix composed of a photopolymerizable body and a plurality of columnar structures each having a different refractive index from the matrix and provided in the matrix. The method comprises a step of impregnating a material having a cross-linked structure with a photopolymerizable composition to form an impregnated object, a step of arranging the impregnated object 16 in a curved state, and a step of irradiating the arranged impregnated object with parallel light to cure the photopolymerizable composition.
