Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormal waveform detection circuit capable of detecting an abnormal waveform without using a reference waveform data. SOLUTION: The abnormal waveform detection circuit includes: an input waveform comparator which inputs waveform data and outputs a comparison signal indicating whether the waveform data remain within the range determined by a predetermined monitoring level or not; a time measuring circuit which measures the time in which the waveform data remain in the range determined by the monitoring level based on the comparison signal; and a comparator which outputs an abnormal condition detection signal when the measured time exceeds predetermined trigger set value.
