Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical drug such as an antihistamine drug comprising at least one chosen from an aminopropylidene derivative and a pharmacologically acceptable salt or hydrate thereof. SOLUTION: The aminopropylidene derivative has a strong histamine receptor antagonistic action. The compound shows low intracerebral migration, even when orally administered to a mouse and subjected to an intracerebral receptor binding test, so the compound has preferred properties in terms of alleviating adverse effects on the central nervous system, e.g. drowsiness. The aminopropylidene derivative is extremely useful as an active ingredient of a pharmaceutical composition such as a novel antihistamine drug causing few adverse effects on the central nervous system, such as drowsiness.
