ANGLE SENSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an angle sensor of high accuracy at a low cost. SOLUTION: The angle sensor (10) includes: a rotor (22) having principal planes (22A and 22B) inclined relative to the axial direction of a rotary shaft (21) and rotating in conjunction with the rotation of the rotary sh...

Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an angle sensor of high accuracy at a low cost. SOLUTION: The angle sensor (10) includes: a rotor (22) having principal planes (22A and 22B) inclined relative to the axial direction of a rotary shaft (21) and rotating in conjunction with the rotation of the rotary shaft (21) around its axis; a magnetic sensor (30) for detecting a magnetic field wherein magnetic field intensity and a magnetic field direction periodically change in concurrence with a face wobble of the rotor (22) arising during the rotation of the rotor (22) and outputting a detection signal including information on a rotation angle of the rotary shaft (21); and a signal processing circuit (40) for calculating the rotation angle of the rotary shaft (21) based on the detection signal.
