Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker allowing a user to confirm whether or not a heating means is in heating operation with little troubles not only when the user stays near the heating cooker but also when the user stays at a place separating from the heating cooker. SOLUTION: The heating cooker includes: a manual operation-type command operation body 31 for giving a heating start command and a heating stop command of the heater 1; a light-emitting type display portion 40 for displaying that the heater 1 is in heating operation; and a display controller for controlling an operation of the light-emitting type display portion 40 to execute a display operation when the heating start command is given, and to stop the display operation when the heating stop command is given.
