Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric operation device of a circuit breaker, which prevents the occurrence of electric corrosion in spite of being a semiconductor switch where turning on/off of a drive current of a motor is advantageous for improvement of speed and life. SOLUTION: The electric operation device of a circuit breaker includes: a motor; normally-opened contacts respectively connected in series to both positive and negative power input ends of the motor and closed in driving the motor; a normally-closed contact connected in parallel to both the positive and negative power input ends of the motor and opened in driving the motor; a relay for controlling the normally-opened and normally-closed contacts; and a semiconductor switching element controlled by a signal of a limit switch following changeover of an ON/OFF signal and a condition of the circuit breaker; wherein electrical operation to the normally-opened contact in driving the motor is different from that in stopping the motor.
