Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copolymer having excellent transparency, heat resistance, and low water absorptivity and low birefringence, and a molding obtained by molding the same. SOLUTION: The copolymer contains a monomer unit of a (meth)acrylic acid ester (A) represented by formula (1) and a monomer unit of another (meth)acrylic acid ester (B). The molding is obtained by molding the copolymer containing the monomer unit of the (meth)acrylic acid ester (A) represented by formula (1) and the monomer unit of another (meth)acrylic acid ester (B). Wherein, R1is hydrogen or methyl; and R2and R3are each hydrogen, halogen, 1-6C hydrocarbon, substituent including a hetero atom, a carboxyl group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, or a nitrile group, and may be the same or different.
