Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of being unable to quickly perform installation work of a seat to a vehicle body due to requiring lock-off operation for setting a seat back to a design reference position. SOLUTION: A first surface 22a1 and a second surface 22a2 of a latch 22 are formed as an allowable guide surface for allowing its passing by push-pressing of a front leg 30F of a striker, and a third surface 22a3 arranged on the inner edge of a storage space 22c of the latch is formed as a stopper butting against the front leg of the striker, and this third surface is formed in a position for aligning its rear leg 30R with a lock groove 22b of the latch by butting of the front leg of the striker. Since the second surface becomes the allowable guide surface, when the second surface 22a2 is pushed against the front leg 30F of the striker, the latch allows the passing of the front leg by being guided by the second surface, and sets the seat back to the design reference position when the seat back is continuously uplifted until the third surface 22a3 butts against the front leg.
