Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode active material containing nano metal particles and superconductive nano-particles, and a lithium battery containing the negative electrode active material. SOLUTION: In the negative electrode active material containing nano metal particles and superconductive nano-particles, the superconductive nano-particle has a structure in which n-pieces of multi-ring nano-sheets where rings formed by connecting six carbon atoms at a hexagonal shape are arranged on one plane by condensing each other are laminated along a perpendicular direction against one plane, and here, n is an integer of 2 to 100. Upon selecting a first carbon among carbons of n-pieces of multi-ring nano-sheets and a second carbon among carbons of n-pieces of multi-ring nano-sheets so as to be set as L1≥L2, when making the first carbon locate at an origin A(0, 0, 0) of a three-dimensional coordinate system having an x-axis, a y-axis, and a z-axis, the second carbon has a coordinate B(a, b, c), wherein a and b are mutually and independently 10 μm or less and c is 100 nm or less. Here, L1indicates a distance between the first carbon and the second carbon, and L2indicates a distance between a third arbitrary carbon excluding the first carbon and the second carbon among carbons of n-pieces of multi-ring nano-sheets and a fourth arbitrary carbon excluding the second carbon and the third carbon among carbons of n-pieces of multi-ring nano-sheets.
