Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile electronic device which efficiently displays memo information on a standby screen. SOLUTION: The mobile electronic device has an operation part, a display part which displays a standby screen, a storage part which stores text memo and shortcut memo, the priority of which is lower than the text memo, a controller which executes text memo display processing that displays high-priority text memo on the standby screen (step S13) when starting the standby screen (step S12), and switches from the text memo display processing to shortcut memo display processing that displays low-priority shortcut memo on the standby screen after a specified time passes (step S15).
