Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gelatinous ion conductor which has a high ion conductivity and a low vapor pressure of an organic solvent, and a lithium ion battery which uses a gelatinous solid electrolyte and has a high liquid leakage resistance. SOLUTION: The gelatinous ion conductor contains polyurethane obtained from polycarbonate polyol and polyisocyanate (A), carbonic acid ester solvent (B), and lithium salt (C). The polycarbonate polyol (a1) has a repeating unit (i) as expressed by a formula (1), and a terminal hydroxyl group (ii), and 10-100 mol% of the repeating unit (i) has a structure as expressed by a formula (2).
