Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a meter unit which can be used in common for water works meters different in nominal diameter, and which enables connection of the water works meters while achieving commonality of a component. SOLUTION: The meter unit keeps primary-side and secondary-side mounting members 3 and 4 for crimp-fixing the water works meter 5 mounted in the longitudinal direction of a base body 2. In this meter unit, a cap member 51 with crimping surfaces 58 different in nominal diameter is connected to the secondary-side mounting member 4 so that a storage chamber 9 for housing a check valve 50 can be formed inside the secondary-side mounting member 4 and the cap member 51, and the check valve 50 is positioned and fixed via a spacer 52 in the storage chamber 9.
