Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a target, and to acquire speed of the target, when searching for the target. SOLUTION: A target detection device for detecting a target existing in a space into which a transmission pulse is transmitted, by utilizing reflection of the transmission pulse includes a radar signal generation part for generating and outputting each transmission pulse whose intervals are set at unequal intervals; and a Doppler correction unit for correcting the Doppler shift of a received signal, by multiplying the received signal, wherein the transmission pulse reflected by the target is received by a Doppler-corrected value fit to a speed range of an extracted target signal.
