Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a graphitizing furnace which is for a method for connecting a carbonaceous formed body group arranged in two transverse rows electrically in series and heat-treating, wherein electricity conditions and axial direction pressing of each row of the carbonaceous formed body group are stabilized and the carbonaceous formed body group is heated uniformly. SOLUTION: The second terminal electrodes 4, 4 are made to face two chambers of parallel arrangement of a furnace body individually from the outside of the furnace, and electric connections of the second terminal electrodes 4, 4 are made to be performed outside the furnace using connectors 7 which are equipped with conductor plates 7aR, 7aL, movable frames 7b which connect the end parts to the conductor plates by pivot axes 7c, an upper flexible conductor 7dUand a lower flexible conductor 7dBwhich are supported by the movable frames, an upper contact point 7eUand a lower contact point 7eBwhich are arranged at both ends of those flexible conductors, and contact point pressing springs 7f which press both contact points against the conductor plates.
