Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal position determining apparatus capable of suppressing the number of antennas in a communication master small and more accurately detecting a position of a communication terminal. SOLUTION: A biaxial integrated antenna is used as a vehicle transmitter 10 of a key operation free system. The biaxial integrated antenna includes a pair of coil bar antennas 16a, 16b whose axes are orthogonal with each other. In the case of smart communication, radio waves are transmitted alternately from the first coil bar antenna 16a and the second coil bar antenna 16b of the biaxial integrated antenna. At such a time, a magnetic field strength in the case of receiving a radio wave from the first coil bar antenna 16a by an electronic key and a magnetic field strength in the case of receiving a radio wave from the second coil bar antenna 16b by the electronic key are calculated, and a position of the electronic key is determined from a difference between these magnetic field strengths.
