Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer light-emitting element capable of improving brightness at the time of driving at low voltage. SOLUTION: In the polymer light-emitting element having a cathode, an anode, and a function layer including a polymer compound and a light-emitting layer including an organic polymer light-emitting compound between the cathode and the anode, the cathode has a first electrode layer and a second electrode layer in order from a light-emitting layer side, and the first electrode layer includes a first material and a second material. The first material is a material containing one kind or more of compounds selected from a group of sodium fluoride, potassium fluoride, cesium fluoride, rubidium fluoride, and carbonate of alkali metal, and the second material is a material which can accomplish reduction action to the first material.
