Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk having a stereoscopic video signal and a high quality video signal recorded therein, and a system which can reproduce the optical disk, wherein a compatibility with a prior art system for reproducing an ordinary video can be achieved. SOLUTION: For a reproducer compatible with stereoscopic and high-quality video signals, a stereoscopic or high-quality video is obtained by dividing each of first and second video signals into a group of frames more than 1 GOP, and reproducing both of first and second interleave blocks recorded on an optical disk 1 alternately at its right and left sides. For a reproducer not incompatible with stereoscopic and high-quality video signals, an ordinary video is obtained by track jumping and reproducing only one of the first and second interleave blocks.
