PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium-ion secondary battery that has satisfactory battery characteristics and easily manufactured, and to provide a vehicle and an apparatus mounted with the lithium-ion secondary battery. SOLUTION: The lithium-ion secondary battery 1 includes a power generation element 10 that is composed by winding a belt-like positive electrode 20 with a positive electrode current collecting plate 28 and a positive electrode active material layer 21, a belt-like negative electrode 30 with a negative electrode current collecting plate 38 and a negative electrode active material layer 31. Regarding peel strength between the positive electrode active material layer and the positive electrode collecting plate, the peel strength between the negative electrode active material layer and the negative electrode collecting plate, properties of the active material layers are made to be different in a width direction, thus both side edges 21E and 31E are made to be higher than central parts 21C and 31C in the width direction DW.
