PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcement spacer designed so that a part of the reinforcement spacer attached to a reinforcement appears as an identification mark when the actual thickness of a concrete cover is within a pre-designed specified range. SOLUTION: This reinforcement spacer includes an immobile body A including a mounting part connected to a reinforcement and a mobile body B which comprises a contact part 20 in contact with a mold projecting from the immobile body through projection pieces. The reinforcement spacer is buried in the concrete deposited in the form while being attached to the reinforcement T, and used to confirm the thickness of the concrete cover by exposing the contact part 20 to the surface of the concrete. The mobile body B is formed deformable from the original shape within a specified limit so that the contact part 20 can be retreated to the reinforcement side by the contact thereof with the form. Where the distances between the mounting part and the contact part are L1, L2, respectively, when the mobile body B is in the original shape and within the deformable limit, a part of the mobile body appears on the surface of the concrete when the mobile body is deformed within the range of the difference Δx=L1-L2therebetween.
