Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an bioimplant which has a mechanical characteristic close to a bone and is firmly bonded to the bone in a short period of time. SOLUTION: The bioimplant is formed of engineering plastic and has a hydrophilic surface to which at least one kind of hydrophilic functional group is imparted, wherein the ratio of at least one kind of hydrophilic functional group on the hydrophilic surface is ≥30% as the area ratio of a peak corresponding to the hydrophilic functional group when the peak obtained by X-ray photoelectric spectroscopy measurement is separated in waveform concerning a central atom in the hydrophilic functional group.
